WEDDING DAY
A SPRING WEDDING AT CLARIDGE’S, MAYFAIR
—
In the world of wedding planning, we wholeheartedly believe that every love story is distinctive to each couple we have the honour of collaborating with, which is why we wanted to curate an occasion that truly reflected the personalities of Rupert and Em. Having previously orchestrated the wedding for Rupert’s sister a few years prior, we were once again entrusted to weave magic into their celebration. The couple sought a laidback and subtly unconventional occasion, exploring alternative venues as the backdrop for their big day. Despite being regulars at the esteemed Claridge’s, a venue renowned for its exceptional customer service and array of exquisite spaces, Rupert and Em envisioned a day that strayed away from tradition. Eventually, the allure of Claridge’s captured their hearts, presenting an exciting challenge for our team to design a day that offered a refreshingly different perspective on one of London’s most iconic wedding venues.
Natalie’s creativity shone at the forefront of the planning experience, curating concepts with unique room designs while transforming the venue with unique décor. The early spring season in which Rupert and Em were tying the knot allowed the team to embrace abundant blossom throughout the day, adding a touch of natural elegance to the event.
Following their wedding dinner, the Mirror Room at Claridge’s became a vibrant nightclub with an electric atmosphere. A bespoke stage, ingeniously integrated into two corners of the room, became a focal point of the nightclub – complete with strings of giant statement blooms that mimicked disco balls. The Claridge’s French Saloon was transformed into a moody whiskey bar, adding an additional element of sophistication to Rupert and Em’s celebration.
