For our Founder, Natalie, this exquisite event held profound personal significance, celebrating her 10-year wedding anniversary with a decadent dinner party which was hosted at Langar Hall in Nottingham. Although it was originally planned for their 10th year, it was delayed due to the challenges of lockdown, with the occasion taking place on their 11th anniversary. With the guest list consisting of their immediate family and closest friends, an evening of cocktails and an indulgent dining experience awaited.
Natalie wore a sequin-adorned gown by Needle & Thread while Ben complemented the occasion wearing a green velvet jacket from Reiss. Their attire not only reflected their personal style, but also set the tone for their sophisticated event.
They sought a relaxed yet refined feel for the occasion, opting to style the tables with a patterned green tablecloth, dainty bud vases filled with Natalie’s favourite flowers and candles interspersed throughout for a warm glow. Elegant square green menus were printed using gold foil, which looked exquisite placed next to natural linen oatmeal-coloured napkins tied with green velvet bows. Glassware from Maison Margaux further elevated the table décor, alongside dark wooden chairs (which worked wonderfully within the low-lit room).
The overall aesthetic was the epitome of laidback luxury, weaving in organic textures, divine colour palettes and floral design. Offering an intimate setting, Langar Hall was the perfect backdrop for their dinner party. Recognised for their culinary delights, the food did not disappoint, aligning with the couple’s vision to immerse their guests in a memorable dinner. The event not only honoured a decade of Natalie and Ben’s love story, but it showcased Natalie’s ability to curate a timeless evening, no matter what the occasion may be.
