We collaborated with our couple to transform their private home into a breathtaking venue to host their wedding day, orchestrating a seamless fusion of elegance and personal touches. We expertly maximised the space utilising a marquee extension while placing most of the ground floor furniture into storage. A clear marquee was connected to the living room, with the aim to act as the dining area for their wedding breakfast. Meanwhile, we transformed the client’s home office into a coat check area, while the gym became a sophisticated whiskey bar for guests to enjoy. A scaffolding floor covering was also placed over the pool to turn it into a nightclub.
As guests made their way into the house, they walked through a stunning floral archway. Entering the space, a stunning floral installation by All for Love London that artfully adorned the grand sweeping staircase stole their hearts. Coat check cards featuring the couple’s bespoke monogram were handed to guests upon arrival, adding an air of sophistication to this black-tie affair. Within the gardens, lounge seating, poseur tables and mouth-watering canapés awaited guests – all of which was accompanied by the elegant ambience of a string quartet.
An ethereal floral meadow aisle and floral arch backdrop created the perfect backdrop for the couple’s outdoor celebrant-led ceremony. Guests sipped on champagne following the ceremony, soaking up the melodic notes of a Mediterranean-style jazz band, before heading to the marquee for the wedding dinner, catered so seamlessly by By Word of Mouth. A pianist played on the couple’s baby grand piano as guests wined and dined amongst foliage and chandeliers, where their jaw-dropping wedding cake created a stunning focal point throughout the marquee. As the evening drew in, a jazz band enhanced the atmosphere during cocktail hour. Friends and family were then invited into the nightclub to enjoy the DJ, saxophonist and drummer for a night of dancing.
This was one fashion-forward bride, boasting an array of outfit changes, transitioning from a custom Berta gown to an incredible traditional Korean outfit, followed by a green sequined Ellie Saab gown before she changed into a short cocktail dress for the final outfit of the night.
The client’s home transformed throughout the day, showcasing the versatility that the spaces and styling had to offer (including two of the upstairs bedrooms that became luxury dressing rooms for guests). From the vintage Rolls Royce exit complete with sparklers, to the organisation of the coach service for guest transportation, every element of the event was flawlessly executed.
