Festoon lighting, fire pits and a crowd-pleasing feast welcomed Katya and Will’s wedding guests to the second day of their celebration at Sibton Park at The Wilderness Reserve. Making the most of the vast grounds at the estate, the couple’s friends and families arrived in the charming cottages where a welcome gift bag awaited, complete with a bespoke candle, Crown biscuit and Coronation tea (as a nod to the King’s Coronation that was taking place across the same dates) and a detailed weekend itinerary that seamlessly guided guests through how the weekend would unfold. They were also greeted with caviar and vodka, setting the scene for a weekend of pure indulgence against the backdrop of luxury-meets-nature.
The festivities began at Sibton Park, where Katya and Will’s loved ones gathered together for welcome drinks and moreish canapés amidst the distinctive surrounding that the venue has to offer. A flower crown making station added a whimsical touch to the occasion, offering friends and family the opportunity to get creative by crafting their own floral crown designs (which were a wonderful keepsake and tied in with the setting perfectly). A scenic stroll led guests towards the woodlands, which is a real hidden gem on the estate. Enroute, a “living wall” of lush and leafy foliage emerged, where surprised hands gracefully presented glasses of champagne for guests to sip on.
As the woodland clearing opened up, Katya and Will were immersed within a canvas of forest trees, festoon lighting and roaring campfires. We had expertly made the most of the area, styling the empty floor spaces with florals that mirrored a wildflower meadow rowing, adding a hint of natural elegance to the glade. The soulful melody of a four-piece acoustic group filled the air and echoed through the trees, where guests couldn’t resist joining in with their classic rendition of Oasis. To further elevate their pre-wedding event, a fire performer captivated the audience, injecting the starlit night with drama and magic. The thoughtful fusion of crackling fires, a relaxed atmosphere and statement entertainment curated an unforgettable ambience ahead of Katya and Will’s wedding day.
