REAL WEDDING – NATALIE & JACK – KINGSTHORPE LODGE BARN
Natalie and Jack tied the knot at the beautiful Normanton Church at Rutland Water. They had such a special civil ceremony, with readings, songs and a live performance by one of their bridesmaids. The weather was perfect so after they said “I do”, guests treated themselves to an ice-cream and then headed to the reception venue on coaches put on by Natalie and Jack.
Their reception was help at a industrial barn which was a fantastic canvas but a dry hire venue made Natalie and Jack a little nervous about planning their own wedding. They also wanted a statement wedding and didn’t want to go down the bunting / country cottage route. They gave me the brief “make it Rock My Wedding worthy”. So I did and their full wedding will be featured in February 2018.
They served a table served hog roast for dinner and eton mess afterwards. The prosecco was served in champagne saucers and the tables were full of gold candlesticks. Jay Archer created the most incredible handing floral installation above the top table and Couture Cakes make the most talked about handing cake I’ve ever had at a wedding. I hired in some cool vintage sofas and chandeliers to create a chic seating area and we set up a selfie stick photo backdrop with a floral garland.
Jack and Natalie are very musical so there were many elements of music throughout their wedding; Jake wrote a song for Natalie during his Groom’s speech as a surprise, they both pre-recorded their first dance song and one of their bridesmaids sang the father daughter song.
They had such a fantastic day and I am so grateful they found me!
