You’ve got the ring on your finger, you’ve found your life partner and now it’s time to start planning your wedding day! But where to start?
Planning your big day will be one of the most exciting things you’ll ever do, and chances are, one of the most stressful. Like many couples, we experienced a few avoidable hiccups while planning our wedding day – particularly in the last few days leading up to the day itself. Looking back, I wish I’d hired a wedding planner.
I specialise in full planning: creating and achieving beautifully styled and perfectly planned events across the whole of the UK. I adore everything about my job, and love working with clients right from the initial planning process, through to the end of their wedding day.
Based in the beautiful rural Lincolnshire, you’ll find me planning weddings, organising events and styling shoots from Yorkshire to Cambridgeshire and everywhere in between.
From small and intimate weddings to large and lavish celebrations, each day is different. I make clients’ planning experiences fun and stress-free, resulting in an unforgettable event with magical memories that will last forever. You can read my clients’ testimonials here.
I truly believe that the services of a wedding planner are invaluable due to the knowledge, experience and industry expertise we have. I will ensure that you not only enjoy every second of the planning process, but I will also help you to save time and money along the way – without sacrificing on luxury or quality. Getting to know my clients allows me to do my job to the best of my ability. I will attend every single supplier meeting – no matter how big or small, and we will hold regular planning meetings throughout the planning stages.
Not only will I work with you throughout the wedding planning process, I will be there to assist with the set up and clearing of your wedding day. I will ensure any hired items are returned safely, saving you even further time so you can enjoy your honeymoon and relax straightaway.
I work with clients for an average of 12 months to plan their wedding days, and only take on a few couples per year to ensure each and every client receives the upmost attention and best level of service. With a personable yet professional approach, my services are designed and tailored to suit you and your wedding day. You can read more about my wedding services here.
I have been lucky enough to have worked for lots of amazing clients and with some incredibly talented suppliers. I have had the privilege of being featured in many magazines, blogs and have even been an expert contributor for a number of radio stations and BBC News programmes. I also won the Best Regional Independent Wedding Planner in the Wedding Industry Awards 2018 and was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in 2017.
M Y S T O R Y
I started my career working in the Customer Service & Hospitality Industry, planning many corporate and charity events before graduating from university with a Law Degree (LLB Hons). Following my degree, I worked as a PA for a small business owner, helping them to grow the company into a national corporation.
My organisational skills teamed with my flare for creativity meant that I was drawn to the wedding industry. After Ben proposed in 2008, I discovered an industry that incorporated all of my creative passions; from flowers to photography, cakes to bridal catwalks. I was instantly inspired and I knew I had found my calling. There is rarely anything more magical than seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces on their wedding day.
After a few years spent planning our wedding, gaining a diploma in Wedding Planning (Distinction), and immersing myself fully in the wedding industry, I officially launched Natalie Hewitt Wedding & Event Planning at the end of 2012.
When I’m not working in the wonderful world of weddings, I’ll be at home with our little girl, baby boy, husband and our beloved Westie. I love going for long country walks, having date nights with my husband and having a Jo Malone (candle and bath oil) relax in the bath.

I love infused Gin.
I also love the idea of being a super healthy eater and fitness freak, but just don’t have the time!
My mum started her career by making veils for a London wedding dress designer, which is where my love for the industry started. I even wore one of her veils on my own wedding day!
